JonBenet Patricia Ramsey

John Mark Karr has been arrested in Thailand and is being brought back to the United States. I have seen video of him ( FoxNews Article ) saying:

"I was with JonBenet when she died."
and
"Her death was an accident."

I have to apologize to her parents. Until yesterday, had you asked me who I thought had killed her, I would have said, "Someone in her family." It is just amazing how someone unknown to the family could sneak into a home, commit such a heinous act, and escape. The evidence must have been there, but missed.

I think the Boulder Police have some 'splainin' to do. Was Leepy Brown their police chief at the time? I think we've found someone even more incompetent that ol' Deer-in-the-headlights Brown.

Several impossibilities seem to have had a convergence in this case.

THere do seem to be several problems with Karr's confession. He says he picked her up from school, but te schools were closed, he says he drugged her, but no drugs were found in her during the autopsy, he says he molested her, but test were inconclusive on sexual molestation. Although he does seem to have some, not yet released info. Very puzzling.

One thing is for certain, he is a nutter. Time will tell, I guess. Let's hope this horrific crime is solved.

I'm in full agreement with Lee's sentiment.

Duhmoose, welcome!

I have heard so much erroneous and conflicting information on this case that I don't know what to think anymore.

The following is apparent:

Karr is a nutter.

Karr admitted to being in the basement with her when she died.

The drugs comment was made by some Thai police official (last I heard on radio news yesterday... was traveling, but think I heard this on Dallas' WBAP). The police official now retracts many of the "erroneous statements" attributed to Karr. In other words, he was lying when he said Karr said, for instance, that he drugged JonBenet.

I saw a bit of the DA on Foxnews. She seems to be fairly certain that Karr is guilty.

I also heard that they collected DNA at the scene, and now have a swab of Karr's DNA obtained by the Thai authorities.

We should know more about probability of guilt or innocence shortly.

We already know not to believe what the media says, but that's for another post.

Karr is a wannabe famous killer. Where is the wannabe Jack Ruby when we need him.
