Amnesty International Gets One Right, Sorta

Hezballah Guilty of War Crimes

Finally, Amnesty International takes a break from their America and Western Values bashing to get one right.

"Amnesty International has accused Hezbollah of "serious violations of international humanitarian law, amounting to war crimes" during the recent Lebanese war.

"In a report published in London Thursday, the human rights group condemned the "deliberate targeting" of Israeli civilians by Hezbollah.

"The report states that 43 civilians, including seven children, were killed in these Hezbollah attacks."

Of course, AI can't ever say something without bashing either the US, Israel, or our other Allies:
"The fact that Israel has also committed serious violations in no way justifies violations by Hezbollah."

Yeah, stopping indiscriminate suicide bombers from targetting civilians by going after their backers and supporters using precision weapons and intricate machinations in order to avoid civilian casualties is apparently a crime.

Israel is going to be condemned by Amnesty every time. I hope that next time, they get to fight a war like a war, just like we should be doing in our war.

That's a bit like giving a present to someone but not letting go of it!

True, but in this case, it is still progress. AI hasn't had a bad word to say about terrorists or anyone who would attack the west, figuratively or literally, ever, pretty much.

Then again, it could just be the broken clock syndrome. After all, you can't help but be right once in a while.
