Is There a Spanish Word for Chutzpah?

Mexican Consul asks Wetbacks to Report Workplace Abuses

The Justice and Equality in the Workplace Program was designed to educate workers about their rights and guide them through the U.S. government bureaucracy to file complaints against abusive employers, said Carlos I. Gonzalez Magallon, the Mexican consul general here.

"There's always been an atmosphere of fear in the community, especially among undocumented workers," Gonzalez said Wednesday.

Unfortunately, they shouldn't be here in the first place, and should be sent packing, SeƱor Manynames.

I'm tired of wetback "rights." The only right they have is to go back to Mexico and apply for citizenship legally. This issue is too late and Dubya is doing nothing, with Perry helping him by doing even less.

I'm fed up. Deport them all, one at a time. After you've done it 20 million times, then we're done. Try it, then tell me it won't work. I don't believe we "can't." We can do anything we damned well please, and this is about the only thing that would please me now.
From October 2005 through September, the Mexican Consulate received 187 complaints of alleged workplace violations, officials said. Ninety-one were referred to the U.S. Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division. Ten were sent on to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and 86 were forwarded to other agencies, including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

How many were referred to ICE? That's who should have gotten all 187 of the complaints. Don't like the workplace conditions here? Go back to Mexico, where you belong, you trespassers.

When is something going to be done about this revolving door? Not soon. Not until the republicans start listening to their base. Kinky, I hope you win. Maybe that will send the message we need our "leaders" (used in the broadest sense, and with as much derision as I can convey) to receive, but which they apparently are immune to hearing.

You may use the term wetback when referring to a part of the body exiting a shower, bath, swimming pool.

Wetback is an exclusionary term.

The term wetback excludes all illegals entering the U.S. west of Texas.
